Flow State Gear was founded by four Christ-following jiu-jitsu athletes — Justin Quinn, Cole Quinn, Jimmy Johnson, and Ryan Pendergraft — with a mission to represent the heart of the Ozarks and the spirit of the mats. As the jiu-jitsu scene continues to grow across Missouri, we’re here to serve our community, and the world, with high-performance gear that reflects our faith, grit, and commitment to something bigger than ourselves.
We believe jiu-jitsu is more than a sport — it’s a tool for growth, discipline, and connection. Through Flow State Gear, we aim to inspire others to train with purpose, live boldly, and glorify God in all things.
Justin Quinn
A purple belt in jiu-jitsu and lifelong builder, Justin leads with a vision for faith-based impact through the sport. He brings business experience, deep Ozark roots, and a passion for creating gear that’s as meaningful as it is durable.
Jimmy Johnson
A pastor, husband/father, and athlete. Jimmy brings wisdom, compassion, and an unshakable faith to the Flow State family. His love for Christ and the jiu-jitsu community fuels our commitment to living and leading with purpose.
Ryan Pendergraft
Also a pastor and committed martial artist, Ryan sees jiu-jitsu as a way to disciple, encourage, and strengthen others — both on and off the mats. His creative vision and gospel-centered mindset help keep Flow State grounded and growing in the right direction.
Cole Quinn
Cole is a devoted Christ follower who finds joy in jiu-jitsu, football, and video games — but feels most alive in the fight. His competitive nature, creative ideas, and heart for the team make him an essential part of Flow State’s mission and culture.
